BCBA Committees
Much of the work of the Boone County Bar Association is
performed by its committees.
Executive Committee members are listed on the
Officers page.
A number of standing committees
are defined by the BCBA Bylaws, and several special committees also have been
formed.
2011-12 committee assignments will be announced by
incoming President Marvin Tofle. If you want to sign up for a committee,
please fill out the
2011-12 Committee Sign-Up and Program Suggestions form and get it to
Marvin. His contact information is on the form.
After committees are appointed, Marvin asks that committee
chairs call organizational meetings of their committees as soon as possible
to identify issues that need to be addressed and to plan activities. After
organizational meetings, committee chairs are asked to share their plans
with Marvin. Committee recommendations which require court action must be
submitted to Marvin for consideration by the Executive Committee before they
are forwarded to the court.
