Overview of the 13th Judicial CircuitThe Missouri 13th Judicial Circuit is composed of Boone County, with its county seat in Columbia, and adjoining Callaway County, with its county seat in Fulton. The circuit has four Circuit Judges who are elected by voters in both Boone and Callaway counties, four Associate Circuit Judges elected by Boone County voters, two Associate Circuit Judges elected by Callaway County voters, a Family Court Commissioner appointed by the Circuit Judges en banc, and a Columbia Municipal Court Judge appointed by the Columbia Mayor and City Council. All 11 judges and the commissioner are listed on the Judges sub-page. Except for the Columbia Municipal Court Judge, all can hear cases in both counties. The 13th Judicial Circuit is headquartered at the Boone County Courthouse, 705 E. Walnut St., Columbia, MO 65201.
